Office Christmas Party

Our Boucher Photography / Woman Captured office Christmas party this year was based on none other than my favorite show, The Office. Seriously. Complete w/ a memo from Angela & the Party Planning Commitee (aka our office manager, Crystal). I love working w/ this studio! It's the best job- because I'm able to do what I love (shooting boudoir photos & designing albums)... and at the same time, I'm ALSO able to shoot child/family sessions on my own. I'm so blessed that I'm able to work w/ 4 amazing people who have all become wonderful FRIENDS! I'll be working w/ this studio through the spring of '08, and after that I'll be making a few changes in my life/business (more to come on that later). I'm just LOVE working w/ these people! Beauty

I just wanted to share a quote I read recently from the book "Do You Think I'm Beautiful" by Angela Thomas. This book really struck a chord with my heart, and I wanted to share a portion of it here:

"Our thinking has been shaped by junior high taunting, unflattering words from people we love, magazines in waiting rooms, cosmetic counters at the mall, the big screen and the little screen and now the computer screen- all teaching us how to think as the world thinks. I mean, how can we not buy in? After twenty or thirty or forty years of watching and reading and listening, we’ve really believed this stuff. Essentially, we’ve been brainwashed. Wrinkles should be injected. Breasts should be augmented. Muscles should be ripped. ... For heaven’s sake, where is it written? Where is it written that what the world calls beautiful is correct?”

Every woman's heart whispers this question: "do you think I'm beautiful?" And the answer is a resounding YES! Yes, you are beautiful- just as you are! Just a little something to think about. Check out the following videos from Dove...
